Verification flow
Follow one case from the moment a customer starts to the moment your system receives a decision. Every step leaves evidence.
Step 1 / 8
Your app or the HECID app asks the platform to start a verification. A unique case is created and tied to your organisation.
Step 2 / 8
The customer photographs the front of their ID. The app guides framing and rejects blurred or cropped images before upload.
Step 3 / 8
The machine-readable zone is read and every check digit is recomputed. Document number, birth date and expiry must all be consistent.
Step 4 / 8
The customer follows short on-screen prompts. The platform checks that a live person is present, not a photo, screen or mask.
Step 5 / 8
The selfie is compared with the photo on the document. A similarity score is computed against a threshold set for your deployment.
Step 6 / 8
All evidence is packaged and its hash is chained to the previous ledger entry, so any later change can be detected.
Step 7 / 8
A second reviewer, signed in with multi-factor authentication, examines the evidence and approves or rejects the case.
Step 8 / 8
The result and the evidence reference are returned to your system. The case is now complete and auditable.
