Identity infrastructure, built where it is used.
HECID is built in Cameroon by Hekate Systems. We make the software that lets institutions know who they are dealing with, without sending their citizens' data abroad.
Why we exist
Trust should not depend on a foreign cloud
Across Central Africa, opening a bank account, registering a SIM card or using a public e-service starts with the same question: is this person who they say they are? Too often the answer relies on photocopies, or on verification services hosted far away.
HECID answers it locally. The platform runs inside each institution's own infrastructure, checks documents and faces, keeps a human in charge of every decision and records each step so it can be proved later.

What we will not compromise on
Humans decide
Automated checks gather evidence. A trained, authenticated reviewer makes the call.
Evidence over claims
Every action is written to a hash-chained ledger that an auditor can verify.
Fail closed
If a check cannot run safely, the case stops. We never fake a pass.
